Night flight in full bloom

January 26, 2017

The stillness of night
Is broken by colour
The flutter of a papillon’s wings
As he rests on the bedding of
Flora.
These two have met before, it seems
As they engage in an exchange
Mutually stimulating
In their non verbal waltz til
The break of light.

‘In the making of Angelina’

October 10, 2016

Certain aspects of this piece had it’s challenges but I got it in the end. And I’m glad I took pics of the steps along the way. Changes in light meant some were taken during the day others at night.

‘In the making of A familiar face’

October 10, 2016

Taking shots during the work is a great idea for future reference, especially when a piece takes longer than expected. That wasn’t the case with this but just saying.
